Hai Au Aviation is organizing a pair of festive events to celebrate the official launch of flights between Hue and Danang starting April 25, 2019.

On April 25, an official launch event will take place at the Da Nang International Airport, located just 2km from the city center. The event will include a sightseeing flight over Danang, taking in some of the city’s scenic bridges including the fire-breathing Dragon Bridge and the new Golden Bridge in the Ba Na Hills, as well as some of the area’s beautiful coastline on down to the Cham Islands near Hoi An.

The following day, a second launch event will take place at Phu Bai International Airport, gateway to the former imperial city of Hue. The event will be highlighted by an aerial tour of the UNESCO-inscribed city, flying over the Citadel and Imperial Enclosure as well as the 24km-long Tam Giang Lagoon, known for its ingenious “fish mazes”.

The Hue-based event coincides with the first day of the 8th annual Hue Traditional Craft Festival which runs from April 26 to May 2, showcasing products unique to Hue, including ceramics, conical hats, paper flowers, a gastronomy festival and more.

Hai Au Aviation’s Hue - Danang route marks the first time these two iconic cities will be connected by air. In addition to daily scheduled flights, guests can also opt for 30-minute sightseeing aerial tours over either city aboard 12-passenger Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX aircraft.
